For the third in his mini-series of Great Living Film Composers, Howard Goodall showcases the life and career of James Horner.

Howard Goodall continues his mini-series celebrating Great Living Film Composers – and this week, he turns his attention to James Horner.  

All sorts of soundtracks from Horner's Hollywood blockbusters will feature, including Titanic, Braveheart and Apollo 13.

Howard also promises to include a selection of scores from the start of Horner's career, as he takes a look at how this American composer - educated at London's Royal College of Music - became one of the most in-demand and financially successful film composers of all-time.
