The Full Works Concert - Friday 14 February 2014: Valentine's Classics

Guitarist Miloš Karadaglić joins the RLPO in this special exclusive broadcast of sultry Spanish music for St. Valentine's Day.

Last night Classic FM’s Orchestra in North-West England, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, gave a special Valentine’s Classics concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, joined by the star guitarist Miloš Karadaglić, making his first Liverpool appearance.

Tonight you can hear this programme of Spanish passion in an exclusive broadcast on Classic FM. 

Passions rise and you can almost feel the warmth of the sun and smell the scent of orange blossom in Chabrier’s España, Bizet’s Carmen Suite, Falla’s sultry Three Cornered Hat and classical music’s last word in slow-burn seduction: Ravel’s Boléro.
