A new series, celebrating the worlds of sport and classical music, in the company of a range of special guests. With the UEFA European Football Championship, the Wimbledon Championships, the Open and the Paris Olympics a couple of weeks away, Classic FM celebrates the ‘summer of sport’ in music.
Dan Walker and Karthi Gnanasegaram are celebrating the classical music that has soundtracked sports most iconic moments and inspired our nation’s famous sportstars. Programmes over the coming weeks will feature interviews with renowned personalities picking the classical music that has been with them as they’ve trained, succeeded and even failed, at the very highest level.
