This Sunday evening, David is dedicating the programme to one of the leading conductors of the 20th century, Otto Klemperer, who died 40 years ago this year.

As a huge admirer of Klemperer, David will talk us through the conductor’s colourful career and select key performances of a variety of works by Brahms, Beethoven and Mozart, featuring soloists who he particularly admired such as Daniel Barenboim and David Oistrakh.
