Movie music master Alexandre Desplat in conversation

Over the next few weeks, broadcaster and film music expert Tommy Pearson joins Classic FM to present some very special editions of Saturday Night at the Movies, which see him in conversation with many of Hollywood’s most famous composers.
We’ll be hearing from, among others, Danny Elfman, James Horner and Thomas Newman.
But first up this evening, Tommy spends a couple of hours in the company of Alexandre Desplat, a composer who has just received Oscar nominations for his scores for Grand Budapest Hotel and The Imitation Game.
