'The People's Soprano' Rebecca Newman shoots straight into the No. 1 position.
It's all change once again at the top of the Classic FM Chart. Last week's highest new entry and No.1 - Paris by Alison Balsom - has been ousted after just one week by Rebecca Newman's Dare to Dream.
Dubbed 'The People's Soprano', Newman has previously sold more than 15,000 albums, headlined her own 20-date UK tour, appeared on TV and radio, and sung the national anthem live on TV for several international televised sporting events. Dare to Dream is named after her own song that embodies the spirit of her musical career.
The great tenor Jonas Kaufmann also has a new entry - at No. 2 - with his new album dedicated to the golden era of German music which flourished in Berlin between 1925 and 1935.
