A teenager has died after a collision with a car as police question a woman on suspicion of drug-driving.
The 15-year-old boy was seriously injured on Saturday after the collision involving a silver Ford Fiesta in New Street, Andover, Hampshire at about 6pm.
Hampshire Constabulary said the teen - described as a pedestrian - was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has now died.
"His family are being supported by specialist officers as detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to investigate the incident," a spokesman said.
"As part of our enquiries the driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old woman from Andover, has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs.
"She has been released from police custody but remains under investigation pending further enquiries."

The force is appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident.
