Grace Hotels & Virgin Atlantic are delighted to be bringing you the ultimate New England Experience.

You and a lucky guest will take in the natural beauty of New England with two nights at each of Grace Hotels' North American locations: The Mayflower Grace in Connecticut, The Vanderbilt Grace in Newport, Rhode Island and The White Barn Inn, a luxurious sister property in Maine.

You will jet off to New York with Virgin Atlantic where your adventure will truly begin. The first stop on your trip, The Mayflower Grace (below), is a tranquil Relais & Châteaux country retreat with an award-winning spa, a mere two-hour drive from New York City.

Then, a beautifully scenic three-hour journey through New England brings you to The Vanderbilt Grace (pictured top), a vintage Newport mansion with all the quintessential luxuries for an unforgettable experience, all just a short walk from the Newport waterfront.

The final stop of the trip is a stunning drive up to Maine, to experience the renowned classic hospitality of The White Barn Inn (below), a Relais & Châteaux property with a critically acclaimed AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star restaurant.

For each evening of your stay, you will enjoy dinner at each hotel’s world-class restaurants, serving dishes inspired by the seasonality of local ingredients and culinary leadership of Grand Chef Jonathan Cartwright.

And you won’t even have to worry about car-hire as this will all be taken care of. You will then fly back to the UK with Virgin Atlantic from Boston.

Terms and conditions

- This prize is for 2 people on a date subject to availability before 9 October 2015 excluding 15 December – 15 January, the 10 days either side of Easter, months of July – September 15, October and public holidays.

- The holiday must be booked before 31 January 2015.

- Accommodation is for two nights at The Mayflower Grace in a Classic Room, two nights at The Vanderbilt Grace in a State Room, two nights at The White Barn Inn in a Traditional Room all with breakfast included.

- Dinner is included every night (excluding alcoholic beverages and gratuity). Lunches and other incidentals to be paid for by the prize-winner.

- At least one guest must be over 18.

- Flights are from London to New York and then from Boston to London with Virgin Atlantic Airways in economy class & cannot be upgraded.

- Airport taxes are not included and will come to approximately £280 (total for 2 people on a return ticket).

- Flights are subject to availability. Many airlines have a set number of complimentary seats on flights, which are allocated on a first come first served basis. It is not guaranteed that all flights will have an allocation.

- Please note that we can’t guarantee that we will be able to book specific fight times and can’t be held responsible for changes to flight schedules.

- No Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles will be awarded for travel under this competition. 

-  The Prize Winner must travel on the same flight and on the same date as their companions. If the Prize Winner wishes to travel alone, the companion tickets will be forfeited.

- A hire car with satellite navigation for the guests to drive from JFK airport to The Mayflower Grace in Connecticut (2 hours), then up to The Vanderbilt Grace in Rhode Island (3 hours), finishing the trip driving to The White Barn Inn in Maine (3 hours), finally taking the guests to Boston Logan airport (1.5 hours).

- One tank of fuel for car with standard insurance.

- Once travel and accommodation have been booked, the prize cannot be amended.

- It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they have the correct visa, valid passport and travel insurance.

- The content of the prize may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value.

- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change the date and substitute with another date.

- We require winner name, contact number, postal address & email to facilitate the prize.

- Due to the nature of prize donations, please be aware that it can take several weeks to confirm dates.

- Not for resale, not transferable, there is no cash alternative. This is a charity auction and as such no refunds are given.
