'It doesn't get more classical than moi' - Classic FM meets Miss Piggy and Kermit

Two very special guests came in to Classic FM to talk about their favourite music - from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Grieg. Here are some of the best moments from Charlotte Hawkins' interview with Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog

Miss Piggy has famously appeared on stage and television with stars of the classical music world including tenor Plácido Domingo - and she's even tried to break into a career in opera herself (she says that's still going 'brilliantly', for those wondering…).

But did you know that Kermit the Frog is also a fan of classical music? And in fact there's an unlikely connection with the composer Grieg.

Of course, Miss Piggy is no stranger to opera. She spoke to Charlotte about her experience of working with Plácido Domingo

The pair also recently worked on a book called The Muppets Meet the Classics: The Phantom of the Opera'… and it turns out *some* of those present thought the project involved a starring West End role *cough* Miss Piggy *cough*

But there's one composer with whom Miss Piggy feels a particular affinity: the famous gourmand, Rossini.
