Voting now open for MIA Awards 2012

The MIA Awards 2012 are now open, ceremony announced for Thursday 22nd November at The Emirates Stadium.

The voting for the MIA (Music Industries Association) Awards is now open. The awards celebrate the best in music retailers and musical products, from instruments to amplifiers and suppliers.

Categories for the industry awards ceremony include best music retailer, best instrument (separated into instrumental families), software categories, an app award and various classes of supplier.

Classic FM are hosting the voting for several instrumental categories, and for the Best Classical Music Instrument Shop award. You can view a whole list of the nominees and categories at the MIA website, and you can vote for the Classic FM-sponsored categories here.

Voting will close on October 10th, and the awards ceremony itself will take place on Thursday November 22nd at The Emirates Stadium.
