Video games and piano enthusiast Geoffrey Guterl has linked up his electric piano to the popular beat 'em up video game Tekken, allowing him to play the game using the piano keys instead of a conventional controller.
He posted a video of the experiment on Vimeo, which shows the process of connection and initial attempts at making the interface work.
The video concludes with footage of an actual online bout which Guterl appears to win, using a flurry of attacks and combos to defeat his opponent.
Tekken is one of the most popular fighting games of all time, with various incarnations across different platforms. As with all beat 'em ups, there's a certain amount of button-bashing involved, perhaps aligning this particular fusion with the Second Viennese School of composers.
