Musicians are often offered a bum deal when dealing with freelance work, but this member of a string quartet has come up with a zinger of a reply.

One of the enduring annoyances jobbing musicians have to face is dwindling opportunities for paid work - very often with the added insult of 'exposure' offered as an alternative to actual money. This approach to such offers is polite, firm and totally righteous.
