John Suchet nominated Presenter of the Year at Arquiva Awards
Classic FM Morning show presenter John Suchet has been nominated for the Presenter of the Year Award in the 2012 Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards.
John is up against Christian O’Connell from Absolute and Danny Wallace of XFM in the Presenter of the Year category for stations with over 1 million listeners.
The nominations for the 2012 Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards were unveiled on 10th May by Jamie Theakston and Harriet Scott from London's Heart live via an online broadcast with MySpace.com. You can watch the awards nominations here.
John has a long history with Classic FM. He first appeared as a guest presenter of the Composer's Notes series in which he examined the finances and wealth of famous composers. In July he became the regular host of Sunday lunchtimes on Classic FM and in January 2011 he took over the reigns of Mornings on Classic FM.
Every weekday morning from 9am on Classic FM, John plays a mix of great classical music including hits from the Hall of Fame and his CD of the Week, with news headlines, travel and weather. His calm and cheery presenting style has proven popular with listeners and we hope you join us in wishing him the best of luck at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 4th July!
