Successful comedian and accomplished musician Bill Bailey is putting his talents to good use in support of the music charity.
Comedian Bill Bailey is the latest celebrity to lend his support to musical charity Youth Music as an Ambassador. After being the only child in his year to take A level music, he's passionate about music as a school subject as well as a fun and sociable activity.
"I discovered the joys of music-making as a teenager and music has been a huge part of my life ever since," he said. "The music projects Youth Music supports around the country, especially with their focus on children with least opportunity, make a huge difference to thousands of young people's lives, not just in developing their musicality but in raising their self-esteem and broadening their horizons in terms of what they can achieve in life."
He joins a wide range of music-loving celebrity Ambassadors including Myleene Klass, Ian Bostridge, Sir James Galway and Sir Peter Maxwell Davies. Their activities include hosting workshops, meeting Youth Music participants, and spreading the charity's message to the public.
