Young musicians are set to benefit from up to £100,000 of grants given out by Awards for Young Musicians, with applications being received until March.
Applications are now being accepted for grants in the Awards for Young Musicians scheme. The closing date for applications is March 15th 2013, and up to £100,000 of grants is available in annual awards between £200 and £2,000.
Awards for Young Musicians aims to give 5-17-year-olds the opportunity to experience high-quality music tuition or contribute towards their musical life: "AYM believes that all talented young people deserve the chance to progress in their music making."
The grants are especially focused on young musicians who struggle with the cost of music education: "We help young musicians aged 5 - 17 with exceptional potential who are struggling with musical costs."
AYM's grants are available for services ranging from tuition and instruments to travel expenses. Applications can me made via their website.
