Audiences at the Royal Albert Hall were treated to a unique fusion of Eastern and Western classical music last week when pianist Lang Lang, tenor Andrea Bocelli and Chinese soprano Song Zuying appeared on stage together.
The three popular musicians came together for 'East Meets West - Three Stars in Collaboration' which saw all three artists performing a collection of solo works as well as a selection of unique collaborations, all accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The concert marked a rare UK appearance from Song Zuying, one of China's most celebrated sopranos. The last time most of us had the pleasure of hearing her perform was at the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
This is the second collaboration between Bocelli, Lang Lang and Zuying after the three musicians performed together at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo's opening ceremony.
