Music is full of complex notations and perplexing symbols. But when it comes to markings like ff, pf and D.S., how clued-up are you?
We’ve gathered together some musical abbreviations, many of which you will have seen before, others which may not be so familiar.
The concept is simple: read the abbreviation, and type the full term into the box. For example, pp would be pianissimo (apols, that one’s not in the quiz).
