Classic BRIT Awards Return
Russell Watson and Katherine Jenkins are among the stars set to perform at the Royal Albert Hall on 12 May for the Classic BRIT Awards.
The ceremony, formerly the Classical BRIT Awards, has been re-branded to reflect the show’s ambition to embrace a more diverse range of music genres including musical theatre and computer game soundtracks.
Alfie Boe, who will also be performing at the show with the cast of Les Miserables, commented:
"This year’s innovations, to this already fantastic annual awards show are to be applauded. By broadening the eligibility and making it more inclusive it has allowed shows like Les Misérables to be featured. I’m delighted to be a part of this wonderful show.”
Classic FM’s very own Myleene Klass is due to host the ceremony, which will also feature operatic quartet Il Divo and the London Chamber Orchestra.
Tickets to the Classic BRIT Awards are on sale now from the Royal Albert Hall box office on 020 7589 8212, priced between £20 and £87.50 for a full dinner/show experience.
