Tonight we're celebrating the Classic FM Hall of Fame with a star-studded line up of performers including violinist Jennifer Pike and guitarist Miloš
Every year we ask you to vote for your favourite pieces of music, and the result is the Classic FM Hall of Fame, the world's biggest poll of classical music tastes.
For four days over Easter we countdown the nation's top 300 pieces of music. And tonight, we're celebrating the Classic FM Hall of Fame in what promises to be a very special Classic FM Live.
On 23 April 2019 Classic FM, with Honda Jazz, is taking over London's Royal Albert Hall with a programme that includes Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.2, Handel's Zadok the Priest, Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
Superstar guitarist Miloš will also perform music by Piazzolla and The Beatles. And the orchestra for the evening is our orchestra in the Midlands, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
Violinist Jennifer Pike is the soloist in Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending and Martin James Bartlett performs Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.2.
Sir Karl Jenkins will conduct the orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus in his own works Adiemus and the Benedictus from The Armed Man – with the brilliant young cellist Jamal Aliyev as the soloist.
And you can listen to the whole event tomorrow night, on Wednesday 24 April on Classic FM.
