The cellist is putting himself at the mercy of the camera in his performance at the Bristol Proms - with every one of his facial expressions being recorded.
It's not just Guy who'll be in the spotlight at the concert: cameras are set to capture the faces of all the audience members as he plays. It's all part of the immersive experience at the Bristol Proms, which is using technology to bring classical music to a wider audience.
Speaking to Jane Jones in a particularly sunny spot at Bristol's Old Vic Theatre, Guy explained how his performance will connect with each and every member of the the 500-strong audience.
"We're getting in contact with the audience, and there's no barrier any more. We're all part of this creative process," he said. "In the second half, when we play the Schubert, our listening has changed; we've created this connection with the audience, and we ourselves are listening in new ways."
