Sephy Francisco stunned X Factor judges last weekend with an unexpected duet version of ‘The Prayer’. Here’s everything you need to know.
Sephy Fransisco is a 27-year-old singer from the Philippines.
Born in 1991, Sephy always dreamed of becoming a singer, citing her vocal inspirations as Beyoncé and Mariah Carey.
The singer used her X Factor audition, broadcast on 15 September, to show off her extraordinary range by singing both the male and female parts of ‘The Prayer’, a classical crossover duet.

In her first audition, Sephy got four ‘Yes’s and was sent through to the next round. After her audition, Simon Cowell said: “Well, that’s the first time I’ve judged a duo as one person”.
Sephy Francisco has made it through to the Six Chair Challenge, which will air on Saturday 29 September in the next episode of The X Factor UK.
The programme will air at 8pm on ITV, and will be followed by another show on Sunday at the same time.
