Diana Adamyan just won the 2018 Menuhin Competition - and her winning Bruch concerto was astonishing

The Senior Finals have in the Menuhin Competition 2018 have just taken place in Victoria Hall, Geneva. Diana Adamyan's win followed Christian Li and Chloe Chua's in the junior round.
Over the past 10 days, the world's finest young violinists have been competing in one of classical music's most prestigious competitions.
There were plenty of violin fireworks from all four finalists, but 17-year-old Diana Adamyan from Armenia emerged to take the night's big prize.
On Friday night, the Junior Prize was won jointly by 10-year-old Christian Li and 11-year-old Chloe Chua.

The jury in Geneva included violinists Pamela Frank, Maxim Vengerov, Joji Hattori, Itamar Golan, Ilya Gringolts, Henning Kraggerud, Lu Siqing, Josef Spaček and Soyoung Yoon.
The Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists was founded by Yehudi Menuhin in 1983. Previous prize winners have included violinists Tasmin Little, Ray Chen and Ziyu He.
