Here's some virtuosic Wieniawski to blow you away - on stage at one of the world's top competitions, young violinist Christian Li is quite astonishing.
In April, 10-year-old Christian Li made history by becoming the youngest-ever joint-winner of the 2018 Menuhin Competition in Geneva, sharing top honours with 11-year-old Chloe Chua from Singapore.
And it was Christian's Wieniawski, recorded in the semi-finals of the competition, that caught our attention. He plays Polonaise de Concert in D with pianist Nicola Eimer, and show incredible technique and musicianship for a 10 year old.
The Junior Finalists of the Menuhin competition were Chloe Chua (Singapore), Hina Khuong-Huu (United States/Japan/France), Christian Li (Australia), Ruibing Liu (China), Guido Sant’Anna (Brazil) and Clara Shen (Germany).
Once you've finished marvelling at Christian's talents, take a look at 11-year-old Chloe Chua, accompanied by Saya Hashino.
