Pianist Stan Urban just rocked up to Dundee train station – and we stan his playing

Stan Urban, the Scottish rock pianist, entertained a spontaneous crowd at Dundee railway station with an expert tinkle of the ivories.

Piano rocker Stan Urban couldn’t resist taking a seat and tinkling the ivories at Dundee train station earlier this week.

The legendary keyboardist – who over the course of his 50-year career has played with the likes of Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry and Mick Jagger – pulled up a stool and reeled off some bluesy riffs and runs that would make any witness weak at the knees.

A crowd soon converged, and we all wish we had been there.

He even got the ol’ leg involved, running a foot along the keys for an extra injection of authentic rock ‘n’ roll. You can watch it above – you have to.

Passers-by took the opportunity to swing a leg here, fling an arm there.

Take it from one stan to another Stan (see what we did there?): I can safely say we’re now all stans. Thank you Stan.
