One hand playing the piano, the other solving a Rubik’s Cube. This might be *the* respectable way to spend lockdown.
The Rubik’s Cube is a notoriously difficult puzzle to crack.
So imagine trying to solve it with just one hand, while the other simultaneously plays the Nintendo Mii Channel theme on the piano.
Well, it only took 18-year-old musician Jimmy Liu less than 30 seconds to align the cube’s colourful squares (watch below).
And he timed the completion perfectly to give the quirky Nintendo melody a glorious two-handed finale.

He’s clearly mastered the extensive multitasking skills that would be required for such a task.
And he probably would have completed the 3D puzzle even faster, if he hadn’t had to pause momentarily to reach for some of the lower keys mid-tune.
This performance isn’t just a fluke, or even an overnight success, as Liu himself admits.
“THIS TOOK ME FOREVER”, he says in an on-screen caption. Which is exactly how long we will continue to be impressed by this video.
