Pop singer Billie Eilish was joined by film legend Hans Zimmer for a sleek performance of the new Bond theme, at last night’s BRITs.
‘No Time to Die’ was premiered at last night’s BRIT Awards by singer-songwriter Billie Eilish and film legend Hans Zimmer, who took us away from the bright lights of London’s O2 arena and into Bond’s dark, angsty world.
Eilish, who scooped the award for Best International Female, gave a delicate vocal performance that was met with deafening cheers from the audience.
“James Bond goes Emo” is how professional soprano and Classic FM presenter, Catherine Bott, describes the new theme.
“The whispered voice of Billie Eilish draws us in to a world where spies are just like us.”
They were joined on stage by Eilish’s brother, Finneas, on piano and guitar legend Johnny Marr, with an orchestra at the back led by Zimmer on second keys.

No Time to Die, set for release on 27 March, promises “high drama, glamour and, of course, the famous Bond ‘suspense’ motif”.
Eilish and Zimmer were joined on last night’s BRITs stage by a host of starry performers including flautist rapper Lizzo, Sir Rod Stewart, Lewis Capaldi, Harry Styles, Dave, Stormzy and Mabel.
No Time to Die is released in cinemas on 3 April 2020.
