The Star Wars theme combined with the Lark Ascending is unashamedly populist - and totally works

Nobody saw this coming: Star Wars has never been so pastoral in this arrangement for keyboard.
This musical mash-up combines two juggernauts of the Classic FM radio playlist: the Star Wars theme and The Lark Ascending.
John Williams’s score is inarguably the best movie theme music ever, while Ralph Vaughan Williams’s bucolic masterpiece regularly tops the annual Classic FM Hall of Fame, much to the delight of our listeners:

Owen Heritage performs his new arrangement on keyboard, but in our heads we’re imagining soaring strings.
Our dearest wish now is that Nicola Benedetti will perform this arrangement with a lightsaber violin bow.
