The score of the newly rediscovered Vivaldi flute concerto will go on show in Perth, Scotland tomorrow night.
The audience at Perth Concert Hall will be able to see the original score of Il Gran Mogol as they arrive for a concert by the award-winning early music group La Serenissima, which includes a performance of the flute concerto.
Conservators from the National Archives of Scotland have created a copy of the original score of the concerto to give a flavour of the original manuscript and allow close inspection.
Il Gran Mogol was discovered last October by Andrew Woolley, a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, who recognised it as part of a series of four lost works. It came to light among the family papers of the Marquess of Lothian in the National Archives of Scotland. The others in the series remain lost.
