Opera singer strips while singing on America's Got Talent

Opera singer Maggie Lane stunned judges on America's Got Talent when she took her robe off halfway through singing Puccini's aria 'O Mio Babbino Caro'.

Lane, a fitness instructor by day, took the controversial performance decision after she had begun singing the popular aria from the opera Gianni Schicchi.

The judging panel and audience were noticeably shocked when Lane took off her dress to reveal a bikini underneath, without stopping her singing at all.

"You have perfect pitch," said judge Howie Mandel. He went on to confess, however, that he "didn't hear the song until halfway through."

Prior to her unconventional performance, Lane told the camera that she was "going to let it all out, because this is my chance to shine."
