Classic FM to intervew Sir Paul McCartney
Classic FM will be broadcasting an interview with Sir Paul McCartney on Sunday 2 October.
Hosted by Classic FM’s Anne-Marie Minhall, the three-hour ‘Paul McCartney Takeover’ programme will feature an interview offering an intimate and honest insight into his illustrious career and life. The show will give listeners the chance to hear the whole of his new ballet score Ocean’s Kingdom – a day ahead of its release – along with material from his previous classical albums such as McCartney: Working Classical and Paul McCartney: Standing Stone.
Listed as the ‘most successful musician and composer in popular music history’ in the Guinness World Records, he has received 60 gold discs and generated sales of 100 million singles in the UK alone. In addition to his pop career, Sir Paul has enjoyed phenomenal success as a composer of classical music. His last classical album, Ecce Cor Meum won the Best Album Award at the Classical BRIT Awards.
