A very talented YouTuber has paired Debussy’s most calming piece of music with a reactive visualiser – and it’s completely mesmerising.
‘Clair de lune’ has long been the golden child of Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque.
Composed in 1890, the piece is calm and expressive and has provided a moving soundtrack to a number of emotional film and TV moments, including Atonement and Ocean’s Eleven.
And it turns out ‘Clair de lune’ looks just as beautiful as it sounds. Rousseau, a YouTuber and pianist who has previously created visualisations of Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ Sonata and Liszt’s ‘La Campanella’, has created a stunning version of the piece using a reactive visualiser.
It’s super hypnotic.
