Debbie Wiseman tells her Piano Stories

Debbie Wiseman released her wonderful new album Piano Stories this week. We've been speaking to her all about it.

The acclaimed film and TV composer is usually used to leading full orchestras through her works but she's stripped it all back for her new album. From the theme tunes to Wilde and Judge John Deed, all the way to her recent work for Channel 4's The Promise, the record features a selection of her most popular pieces arranged for solo piano, all performed by Debbie herself.

Classic FM's Lucy Coward spoke to Debbie about choosing the tracks for the album, her love of the piano, the process of composing music for television and the joys of hearing her pieces being performed.
