Sheila Blanco’s social media homages have been outrageously popular – and we can see why.
Sheila Blanco, a vocalist and journalist living in Madrid, has become a social media star with a series of pitch-perfect vocal tributes to great composers.
In January, Blanco penned a few words in homage to the timeless artistry of Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach, setting it to the music of the 'Badinerie' from his Orchestral Suite No. 2. The nimble, jazzy and irresistible performance promptly went viral on Facebook and Twitter, garnering over 6 million views.
