The Norwegian trumpeter played Angels from the Realms of Glory on stage at the Regent Street Christmas lights switch on in London, and recorded a Christmas message for us.
Tine Thing Helseth performed at the Regent Street lights switch on with Classic FM back in November, but she recorded a festive greeting for us after her warming rendition of the carol Angels from the Realms of Glory with the Estilo String Quartet. Featuring the journey from rehearsals to performance, the video gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the life of a professional musician at Christmas.
She said: "We had a wonderful time playing Angels from the Realms of Glory - a Christmas hit! It was super fun, so many people, and really, really nice to be here."
Tine also performed at the ceremonial switch on of the lights at the Norwegian Christmas tree on Trafalgar Square, London, earlier this month, where she played In the Bleak Midwinter alongside the Choir of St Martin in the Fields.
