CD of the week: Sarah Chang: Bruch and Brahms Concertos

Sarah Chang performs Bruch's Violin Concerto No.1 at Classic FM Live this Thursday. And all week, Simon Bates will be playing music from her latest CD

It includes the Bruch concerto, alongside another warhorse for the instrument from the Romantic period: the Violin Concerto by Brahms.

This is intense, lyrical playing, and Sarah's joined by the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kurt Masur.
