A simple, beautiful performance of Bach's Cello Suite No. 1

This is bliss: the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No. 1, played in a huge empty room by a phenomenal cellist.
Cellist Peter Gregson is one of the world's most innovative cellists, regularly experimenting with loops, synths, soundtracks and cutting-edge techniques. So we thought we'd challenge him by making him play the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No. 1, one of the most iconic and exposed cello pieces in the repertoire.
Peter kindly squeezed us in during a day of intense rehearsals for the Bristol Proms: all we had to do was set him off, press record, and start walking around him as he played. The results are simply beautiful.
