Performing outside has its own set of trials and tribulations: from amplification concerns to weather worries. Luckily, after a three-hour rehearsal for Leeds Opera in the Park, the sun looked set to shine and the Orchestra of Opera North could look forward to a great evening of music-making.
Speaking with Jamie Crick ahead of the performance, David gave us an insight into what it's like performing at such a large festival-style event - and why Opera North are so looking forward to playing.
