Classical pianist Dame Mitsuko Uchida was yesterday spotted in the royal box at the Wimbledon men's final between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, sitting next to the Duke of Kent.
Uchida, looking every inch the superstar with her flamboyant sunglasses, was sitting next to the Duke throughout the match, which was won by Britain's Andy Murray.
Fellow tennis fans in the box with Uchida and the Duke included leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband. Herself a British citizen, Uchida gave her full support to Murray by cheering and standing up at several points during the match.
Finalist Novak Djokovic is famously a fan of classical music himself, and recently told The Spectator how his coach and mentor Jelena Gencic would make him listen to Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.
In the end, it was Murray who triumphed - and although he's not claimed to be fan of classical music, his dogs certainly have.
