Lindsey Stirling to join Andrea Bocelli on UK tour

Violinist and internet sensation Lindsey Stirling has been announced as special guest for Andrea Bocelli's November UK & Ireland arena tour.

Stirling, who has a huge online following of over 5 million YouTube subscribers, will join the tenor on four dates this November, performing with him in all shows:

14th - Dublin O2 Arena    

18th - Liverpool Echo Arena                    

20th - London O2 Arena                            

21st - Birmingham LG Arena    

Stirling said in a statement: "I am excited, nervous, honoured, and even shocked to think that I get to perform with the greatest opera singer in the world. Wow, where is my violin? I need to start practicing immediately for this! But really, this is a huge honour and I can't wait."

The violinist is best-known for her inventive YouTube videos that see her taking on unexpected musical material such as video game themes and dubstep, along with her own compositions.
