Lindsey Stirling takes on Star Wars in new video

Violinist Lindsey Stirling has collaborated with a cappella singer and internet star Peter Hollens on a brand new medley of John Williams' music from the Star Wars movies.
In the video, the two re-enact several scenes from the Star Wars films, accompanied by their interpretation of the John Williams score. Hollens, who is famous for his multi-tracked vocal techniques and glee club-style arrangements, forms most of the backing for the work.
The pair have collaborated before on themes from the Skyrim video games and the Game Of Thrones TV show. Hollens told Mashable: "Lindsey and I decided to do this because we both have been a huge fan of the Star Wars series for a long time now, and we also wanted to make a very different spin."
Stirling has made a name thanks to her high-concept videos and crossover interpretations of various fantasy TV, movie and video game themes and her energetic live shows, which toured Europe earlier this year.
The video is also part of YouTube's #geekweek, which was launched last week. Stirling was also recently signed by Troy Carter, manager of Lady Gaga.
