Pianist Lang Lang has been given an honorary fellowship at St Peter's College Oxford, presented to him by Mark Damazer CBE at a special ceremony.
The Chinese pianist, who performed two solo concerts at the Royal Albert Hall over the weekend, collected the honorary fellowship during a visit to the Oxford college.
He tweeted the following message shortly afterwards:

Lang Lang also gave a special masterclass at the chapel of St Peter's College yesterday afternoon.
Mark Damazer, master of St Peter's College, commented on Twitter: "We will be bestowing an Honorary Fellowship on Lang Lang, not only because of his genius, but because his Foundation's work for the young."
