Classical pianist Lang Lang and R&B singer-songwriter John Legend have collaborated in performance at a special event in New York hosted by Dom Perignon.
The worlds of classical music and R&B collided last night when superstar pianist Lang Lang and singer-songwriter John Legend performed together at a special event for Dom Perignon.
The church was stripped of it pews and decked out with leather sofas, as Lang Lang pointed out from the stage: "I’ve never seen a church with a leather sofa in my life before."
According to W Magazine, Legend commented: "I’m going to have a lot of champagne when I’m done, but it dries my throat out when I’m trying to sing. I’m sure it’s fine for the pianist."
Lang and Legend performed a rendition of Nina Simone's version of the Beatles classic 'Here Comes The Sun'.
