Starry collaborations, a moving Stormzy cover and several UK dates: here's everything you need to know about Katherine Jenkins' forthcoming tour and album
Fans of the mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins will be pleased to hear that she has announced the details of her upcoming tour: ‘An Evening with Katherine Jenkins’.
The news follows the November release of her album, ‘Guiding Light’– her first record in four years. The tour will take place around the UK in April and May 2019.
The album features an original song dedicated to her son, ‘Xander’s Song’, and another with her daughter Aaliyah’s vocal input.

Accompanied by The London Concert Orchestra – who Katherine has collaborated with in previous concert series – and the Ulster Orchestra for her Irish dates, the tour will include songs from her new album 'Guiding Light'.
Tracks on the album include ‘Never Enough’ from ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace’, ‘Morning Has Broken’ – featuring bass-baritone opera and concert singer Bryn Terfel – and a moving cover of grime artist Stormzy’s ‘Blinded By Your Grace’.
Katherine Jenkins was the first female artist to win two consecutive Classical BRIT Awards and in 2017 she was named the number one classical music artist of the past 25 years in the Ultimate Classic FM Chart.
