Il Divo and Katherine Jenkins tour to hit UK

Katherine Jenkins and Il Divo are to embark on a UK leg of their European tour.

After announcing a European tour together, international pop-operatic four-piece Il Divo and Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins have confirmed plans to tour the UK.

The UK dates will include shows in Nottingham, Brighton, Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff and London's O2 Arena, among several others in April 2013. The rest of the already-announced European tour will take place in March.

Jenkins and Il Divo have not performed together before. Il Divo will also be performing a greatest hits show without Jenkins in Dublin on April 21st.

On announcing the tour initially, Seb from Il Divo commented: "We’ve long been friends with Katherine, and as we looked to stage a tour around our Greatest Hits release, we thought what better way to approach it than to offer our fans the ultimate evening of classical crossover music by inviting Katherine to perform and also join us on some brand new duets."

Il Divo's greatest hits collection will be released on November 26th, the same day as Katherine Jenkins' new album This Is Christmas.

Apr 18 – Motorpoint Arena – Cardiff
