The mezzo-soprano has revealed the new cover for her crowd-sourced album, titled ReJOYCE.
Joyce DiDonato is showing off the final stages of her 'best of' album. She revealed the cover online this morning, after asking her fans to act as producers, choosing everything from the track listing to the sleeve notes.
Joyce described the photo, taken by Xenia Varelas, a long-time fan and photographer of Joyce's curtain calls, as the best part of the cover. "This shot from Baden Baden just seemed to capture the mood of ReJOYCE perfectly, that it simply had to be," she said.
The new album includes previously unreleased recordings of Ombra mai fu by Handel, and Una Voce Poco Fa by Rossini, as well as some of the most popular tracks from her albums, including Diva/Divo, Drama Queens, Furore.
