Hayley Westenra joins Britain's Got Talent

Classical soprano sensation Hayley Westenra has recorded a duet with Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall.

Westenra teamed up with the 2011 winner of the show to record a version of The Prayer, a song made famous by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli in 1999.

Hayley, currently No. 1 in the classical charts with her album Paradiso, was quoted as saying: “I had so much fun recording this duet with Jai.

“He’s a brilliant artist and person. Our voices worked well together and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the track.”

Hayley is currently the voice of ITV’s Rugby World Cup coverage and is preparing for a tour of her native New Zealand in November, while Jai McDowall is currently recording his debut album.
