David Temple of the Crouch End Festival Chorus at Classic FM Live

The Crouch End Festival Chorus are no strangers to Classic FM Live, so David Temple was only too happy to chat to Jane Jones ahead of their performance.
With a programme that includes Handel's Zadok The Priest, Carl Orff's O Fortuna and the legendary 1812 Overture, it's going to be a busy night for the stellar vocal ensemble. Their director David Temple spoke to Jane Jones about their special guest (choirboy superstar Jack Topping) and a certain-to-be barnstorming performance of the 1812 itself.
Temple was quick to praise young Topping, but he also spoke of the wide-ranging nature of the Classic FM Live repertoire: "When we were in rehearsal this afternoon I was in tears listening to Jack Topping, he was so beautifully in tune and my guys were making a lovely sound... and then the next minute we're doing O Fortuna and raising the roof."
