Blake's tour opens in Wavendon

Blake have embarked upon their UK tour. Their first concert took place at The Stables in Wavendon, where they were joined by the Diamond School of Performing Arts Choir.

We spoke to Blake last month as they prepared for the tour and began their search for youth choirs in all the locations in which they’re performing. They invited choirs to submit videos of their performances on YouTube and those chosen will perform three pieces onstage with Blake.

The first choir chosen, from the Diamond School in Newport Pagnell, excelled themselves and had a great time too, as you can see in the video below. Blake are going to be keeping a video diary for us along their tour, which continues across the UK until November. You can watch the first installment below.
