Birmingham Royal Ballet on their UK run
The Birmingham Royal Ballet are preparing for their eagerly awaited Spring tour. Lucy Coward spoke to the Ballet Mistress Marion Tait all about it.
In March the Birmingham Royal Ballet will travel to Sunderland and London with Peter Wright's celebrated production of Coppelia.
The ballet will also be bringing their Spring Passions to London's Coliseum, a double bill of brilliant Birmingham Royal Ballet productions made up of Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe, and Frederick Ashton's poignant production of The Two Pigeons.
Classic FM's Lucy Coward spoke to Ballet Mistress Marion Tait, who has been part of the Company since before it first moved to Birmingham.
She told Lucy all about these upcoming productions, what sort of preparation goes in to such ambitious shows, and the secret to BRB's continued success.
