The best instruments, music shops and music technology software were honoured last night at the Music Industry Association awards.
Yamaha, Fender GBI and Professional Music Technology were among those celebrated at the Music Industries Association (MIA) Awards last night at the Emirates Stadium, London. The awards honour the best-selling and most reliable products in the industry, and provide a platform to acknowledge innovation in the UK's musical instrument industry.
More than 20,000 members of the general public cast their votes in a wide range of categories, from Best Classical Instruments, to Best Guitar Amplifier, through to the Best Independent Retailer.
Paul McManus, MIA Chief Executive, said: “The MIA Music Awards are a celebration of the vibrancy, diversity and achievements of the industry. The evening provides an important opportunity to give due recognition to the wonderful people, organisations and products that are currently at the forefront of our great industry.”
MIA is the UK trade association representing the instrument industry. Its members include manufacturers, distributors, publishers, retailers and educators of instruments and associated products.
